"An Astounding, Great Transformation!! Super Saiyan 3" is the two hundred and forty-fifth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Z. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 09 November 1994, receiving a ratings share of 21.7%. It was written by Hiroshi Toda and directed by Mitsuo Hashimoto.
Synopsis
Sensing Goku's stupendous ki, Trunks unthinkingly stops in place. Goku realizes this and makes Trunks hurry along, then returns to his normal form in order to buy time. He then displays in turn Super Saiyan, the form that surpasses Super Saiyan, and then transforms into Super Saiyan 3, the form that surpasses even that!! Meanwhile, Trunks arrives at his house and begins searching for the Dragon Radar. Goku attacks Buu, and an even battle unfolds.
