Reacoom is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. Reacoom makes his debut in Chapter 272, published in the 1990 #21/22 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Early Life
When Reacoom was a child, he studied dance. This is the source of his agility and battle poses.[3]

Name
Reacoom's name (リクーム/Rikuumu) comes from the English word "cream" (クリーム/kuriimu). Toriyama rearranged the syllables and elongated ク/ku instead of リ/ri.

The other members of the Ginyu Special Force are named after dairy products as well: Ginyu (ギニュー/Ginyū) from the Japanese word for cow's milk (牛乳/gyūnyū), Butta (バータ/Bāta) from "butter" (バター/batā), Jheese (ジース/Jiisu) from "cheese" (チーズ/chiizu), and Gurd (グルド/Gurudo) from "yogurt" (ヨーグルト/yōguruto).
