Bardock is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. Bardock makes his debut in the first Dragon Ball Z TV special, but was later incorporated into the manga series in chapter 307, published in the 1991 #5 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump. Bardock is a Saiyan from the Planet Vegeta, who is notable for having confronted Freeza.
