Summary
Part A
The Cell Games begins! Mister Satan and Cell stand in the ring; Son Goku and his friends stand in shock on the sidelines. Cell says that he doesn't care who goes first so Mister Satan volunteers. Goku shouts over that he is going to get himself killed, but Mister Satan and the reporters just poke fun at Goku's ignorance of Satan's superior skills. The crowds watching the battle from afar boo Goku for his naiveté, but the King of Earth almost recognizes Goku from his youth battling Demon King Piccolo but is confused by Goku's changed hair and eye colors. He recognizes Piccolo, but believes him to be his father. Kuririn says to let Satan fight because he can be brought back with the dragon balls.
Satan throws off his cape and prepares to battle, but he is interrupted by the arrival of two of his students, Karoni and Piroshki, as well as Pizza, their manager. The pair ask for the chance to fight Cell themselves and Satan agrees, walking out of the arena. Cell looks on in unflinching annoyance. The crowds in the city are excited to see the new challengers. Karoni goes first, demonstrating his aerial death strike by throwing up a bouquet of roses and chopping them into slowly falling petals. As the match begins, Karoni launches his Beautiful Rose Flying Attack at Cell. Without moving, Cell powers up his ki slightly and sends Karoni flying into the stratosphere. Moments later, he lands outside the ring. Satan and Pizza explain that he got carried away and jumped too high. Goku stares at Cell, eager to get into the ring himself.
