Synopsis
Realizing that Goku would win in a fair fight, Freeza takes a new strategy: destroying Planet Namek. He can survive in space, but Goku cannot. Goku watches as Freeza's ki attack bores into the center of the planet, causing earthquakes and destruction worldwide. Meanwhile, Gohan arrives at Goku's spaceship and leaves the injured Piccolo there. The computer, sensing his arrival, activates a view screen and he sees his mother, the Turtle Hermit, and Dr Brief for the first time. Against his mother's cries, he flies off to rescue Bulma and bring her back. On his planet in the Afterlife, Kaio mourns Goku and his friends. But when he is contacted by Kami, he realizes that Piccolo must still be alive! Although Freeza has brought Namek to it's end, the planet will not explode for five more minutes. With little time left, Goku and Freeza resume their battle.
