"I Am Going To Win... Risking Survival, A Final Attack" is the ninety-eighth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Z. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 10 July 1991, receiving a ratings share of 23.3%. It was written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa and directed by Yoshihiro Ueda.
Synopsis
Goku and Freeza resume their attack, but Goku has the upper hand. Consumed by rage for the "permanent" death of Kuririn, Goku allows Freeza to power up to 100%, saying that he wants to defeat him at his strongest. Kaio tries to dissuade him, proposing that he attack while Freeza is still charging his ki, but Goku does not listen. Kaio remarks that Goku is not the same man they knew; he is a Super Saiyan now. Elsewhere, Gohan rescues Bulma and flies her off towards Goku's spaceship. Back on Earth, Dr Brief and Chi-Chi try in vain to regain communication with Namek. Once Freeza is fully powered-up, he attacks Goku again, but the Super Saiyan still has the upper hand.
