"The Curtain Opens on the Battle! Son Goku Returns" is the first episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Kai. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 05 April 2009, receiving a ratings share of 11.3%.
Synopsis
Kakarrot, the son of the Saiyan warrior Bardock, was sent to Earth to destroy all humanity. Son Gohan finds Goku and adopts him as his own, naming him Son Goku. Goku grows up on Earth, facing many fierce opponents and expanding his fighting abilities. After defeating Ma Junior, Goku settles down and has a son, Gohan, named after his adoptive grandfather. After five peaceful years, everyone reunites at Kame House, but their celebration is disrupted by a mysterious alien warrior!
