"Birth of a Merged Superwarrior - His Name is Gotenks!!" is the one hundred and thirty-eighth episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai (the international version of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Kai) and the fortieth episode of "The Final Chapters", the international branding for the series' Majin Boo arc. The episode debuted in the United States on Cartoon Network's Toonami on 04 November 2017.
Synopsis
The Elder Kaiōshin says that he has the ability to draw a person's power out beyond its limits. Gohan then begins a 25-hour ceremony to draw out his power. At God's Temple, Goten and Trunks finally take a shot at Fusion. But they fail, and a fat Gotenks is born. The two failed because their poses were slightly off. After 30 minutes, the merge wears off and the two try it again, but fail once more. On the third time they at last succeed at Fusion, and the warrior Gotenks is born!!
