Thouser is a fictional character in the fifth Dragon Ball Z film, The Incredible Strongest vs. Strongest, where he makes his debut as a member of the Coola Armored Corps.

Biography

Thouser was born on Planet Coola No.98, formerly known as Planet Brench. Due to the planet's high gravity, he is not very large, but that means he is light on his feet on other planets. He is very intelligent and can speak 7,000 space languages. He competed with Ginyu for the top spot of the Coola Armored Corps and is one of the people who know Ginyu's true form. He hails from the same binary star system as Jheese of the Ginyu Special Force.[1]

Name

Thouser's name is based on the katakana transliteration of "Thousand Island Dressing" (サウザンアイランド・ドレッシング, Sauzan-Airando Doresshingu).[2]

Production

When appropriate, a description of the character's production, including who initially designed the character (if an anime original character), notes about their design or conception, etc.

Notable Skills

A list or description of notable skills or techniques. Video game techniques should be separated from those used in the series proper.

Performance

Thouser is voiced by Shō Hayami, who also provided the original voice of Zarbon. Following Hayami's replacement in Dragon Ball Kai (where Zarbon was played then and in all subsequent productions by Hiroaki Miura), Thouser remains Hayami's one occasional Dragon Ball role when the character appears in video games.

In the Funimation English dub, Thouser was voiced by Michael Marco in his sole role for the Dragon Ball franchise. In English adaptations of video games, Thouser is voiced by Christopher Sabat.
