Summary

Prologue

With the first three matches concluded, it is time for the fourth match between Goku and Giran to begin. The tournament announcer tells the audience that the skies are growing doubtful; he does not know what will happen with the weather or the match! He tells the contestants to enter the ring. Oolong is excited that it is finally Goku's turn; Bulma wonders what sort of person Giran will be, while Pu'er cheers for Goku to hang in there for Yamcha's share. Giran steps into the ring and roars; Oolong is surprised to see that he is a monster. Goku hops into the ring and introduces himself to the audience; Bulma shouts encouragement, telling Goku that Giran will be easy for him. Giran laughs, and the announcer tells them it is time to begin. They take their stances and face off, but then it starts raining, and everyone in the audience goes running for shelter. The announcer confers with the head priest, and then announces that the match will resume after the rain has stopped. Goku and Giran continue to stare each other down.
