Universe Two is called the "Kind Universe". Their rank at the beginning of the Tournament of Power is No. 6 out of 12.[1] The universe is ruled by the Kaiōshin Peru, the God of Destruction Helles, and his attendant Angel Souwa.
Inhabitants
Divine Beings
Peru (ペル)
Peru works out to build his physique, and heart his burns for the battles of Universe 2's maidens of love.[2] Peru's name pun is unknown, but many Kaiōshin appear to have been named after deities, and Perun (ペルーン Perūn), the god of thunder and lightning in Slavic mythology, is a likely source for his name. Note that Perun is one of many mythological deities (such as Perkūnas, Persephone, Perseus, etc.) whose name begins with "Per" and is written with ペル (peru) in Japanese.[3] |
Helles (ヘレス)
Helles is a God of Destruction in the form of a woman who sings the praises of the magnificence of Universe 2's "Power of Love". She has an unusually high sense of aesthetics and hates ugly things.[2][4] Helles (ヘレス Heresu) is a traditional German pale lager beer, produced chiefly in Southern Germany, particularly Munich. ヘレス is also the katakana transliteration of the Spanish word for Sherry (jerez), a fortified white wine made from grapes grown near Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, Spain. Whichever is the true source for her name, the pun follows the theme of Gods of Destruction and Angels being named after alcoholic beverages.[3] |
Souwa (サワア)
Souwa has an intellectual personality and is not good at working out, unlike Peru.[1] Souwa's name is likely derived from Sour (サワー sawā), a mixed drink cocktail containing a base liquor, lemon or lime juice, and a sweetener. This name pun follows the theme of Gods of Destruction and Angels being named after alcoholic beverages.[3] |
Warriors

The warriors of Universe 2 are all named after cuts of meat.[3]
Ribrianne (リブリアン)
Ribrianne commands Kakunsa and Roasie as leader of the Maiden Squadron. She transforms from a beautiful girl into a chubby warrior, and attacks recklessly.[6][10] Ribrianne's name is likely derived from Chateaubriand (シャトーブリアン) steak, a French dish made with a thick cut of beef tenderloin filet. |
Kakunsa (カクンサ)
Kakunsa transforms into a beast-like warrior, and attacks wildly by clawing and biting. In the Tournament of Power, she is dropped out of the ring by No. 17's intense roundhouse kick.[10] Kakunsa's name (Sanka-Ku) is likely derived from the Japanese term for chuck ribs (三角バラ sanka kubara), a cut of beef taken from the chuck area of cattle, characterized by its strong marbling. In Japan the chuck rib represents the first to sixth bone portions of the shoulder roast cut into triangles. |
Roasie (ロージィ)
Roasie transforms into a Chinese-style magical warrior, a master of the Yacchaina Fist that becomes stronger and sharper the more she attacks.[2] Roasie's name (Sous-Roas) is likely derived from "sous" (スー) and "roast" (ロース). The former refers to the sous-vide low-temperature cooking technique. The latter term, fully adopted from the English word "roast", indicates lean cuts of meat from around the shoulder and back, typically referring to what is considered the loin or sirloin in traditional American cuts. In some cases, rōsu is translated as "loin". |
Zarbuto (ザーブト)
In the Tournament of Power, Zarbuto fails at fusing when his helmet prevents him from putting on the Potara.[11] He engages in combination attacks with Zirloin and Rabanra.[8][12] Zarbuto's name is likely derived from Zabuton (ザブトン), a flavorful cut of meat from the rib cage area. |
Rabanra (ラバンラ)
Rabanra worships Ribrianne as a goddess. In the Tournament of Power, he fights fiercely for the survival of Universe 2 alongside Zirloin.[13] Rabanra's name is likely derived from ばら肉 (ばらにく baraniku), the Japanese word for the less meaty part of the ribs section, often from cattle or hogs, which is cooked as a slab. |
Jimizu (ジーミズ)
Jimizu is a Yardratian who specializes in teleportation. He's the knight who protects the Maiden Squadron. In the Tournament of Power, after eliminating Zircor of Universe 10[14], he is dropped out after receiving Freeza's fierce blow.[10][15] In the manga's version of events, he is eliminated by No. 18.[16] Jimizu's name is likely derived from Misuji (ミスジ), a thin cut of beef from under the shoulder blades and a popular selection for Japanese Yakiniku (barbecue). |
Bikal (ビカル)
Bikal flutters through the sky on large wings and saves allies about to fall out of bounds in the Tournament of Power. She is dropped out by No. 17's kick.[6][10] Bikal's name is likely derived from Kalbi (カルビ), a thin cut of boneless short rib or flanken-cut rib, it is one of the most popular selections in Japanese Yakiniku (barbecue) due to its high marbling. |
Zirloin (ザーロイン)
Zirloin is a warrior with a knight-like appearance. He ultimately transforms using the Power of Love alongside Zarbuto and Rabanra.[12] Zirloin's name is likely derived from "sirloin" (サーロイン), a steak cut from the rear back portion of the animal. |
Prum (プラン)
Prum's body turns silver as he bounces back energy spheres. In the Tournament of Power, he is blown off the ring by Vegeta's attack.[10] Prum's name is likely derived from "rump" (ランプ), a steak cut from the rump or round area of cattle. |
Harmira (ハーミラ)
Harmira uses his rifle-like left hand to team up with Prum and attack enemies from afar. In the Tournament of Power, he loses when he is forced out of the ring by Tenshinhan.[10] Harmira's name is likely derived from Harami (ハラミ), commonly known as skirt steak. This cut comes from the diaphragm area of cattle. |
