Rabanra is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Rabanra makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 96, broadcast on 25 June 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 2 team.
Biography
Rabanra worships Ribrianne as a goddess. He fought fiercely for the survival of Universe 2 with Zarbuto and Zirloin.[1]
Tournament of Power
Name
Rabanra's name is likely derived from ばら肉 (baraniku), the Japanese word for the less meaty part of the ribs section, often from cattle or hogs, which is cooked as a slab. The character name is a rearrangement of the katakana used to write baraniku with the last syllable dropped and the third syllable’s vowel dropped.[2]
Performance
Rabanra is voiced by Masakazu Morita, best known as the voice of Whis. In the FUNimation dub, Rozie is voiced by Derick Snow in his first credited role for the Dragon Ball franchise.
