Catopesra is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Catopesra makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 96, broadcast on 25 June 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 3 team.
Biography
Catopesra is a policeman who protects Universe 3. His belt buckle lights up, changing to various modes.[1]
Tournament of Power
Name
Catopesra's name is likely an anagram of Pescatora (ペスカトーラ), a style of Italian cooking, traditionally marinara pasta with seafood components. The character name is a rearrangement of the katakana used to write "pescatora" in Japanese.[2]
Performance
Catopesra is voiced by Yūsei Oda. In the Tournament of Power, Oda also gives his voice to Geen, the God of Destruction of Universe 12; Anat, the Kaiōshin of Universe 1, and the Omni-King's Attendant. In the FUNimation dub, Catopesra is voiced by Garret Storms in his first role for the Dragon Ball franchise.
