The Bear Bandit is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. The Bear Bandit makes his debut in chapter 3, published in the 1985 #01/02 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Biography
One day in Age 749,[1] the Bear Bandit is looking through a scope and spots a girl, a boy, and a turtle coming towards him on the road. He gets especially excited about the turtle, saying it is his favorite food. He stops the three of them in the road and tells them to hand over the turtle. Though the girl urges the boy to comply, he just sticks out his tongue. The Bear Bandit swings his sword at the boy, but he dodges it. Amused, the Bear Bandit swings at him again, but this time the boy is suddenly standing on the blade itself. He hops over onto the Bear Bandit's nose, and punches him square between the eyes with a Jan-Ken Gū. The Bear Bandit falls over, bleeding, though it is unclear whether the punch was fatal or not.[2]
