Dracula Man is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. Dracula Man makes his debut in Chapter 99, published in the 1986 #49 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Biography

A vampire dressed as a kickboxer, Dracula Man is one of the warriors who fights on the Fortuneteller Crone's behalf against customers who wish to have their fortune told but cannot pay the Crone's fee of ten million zenni. If they can beat her five champions instead, she will divine their fortune for free.[1]

When Son Goku and company come to have the location of a Dragon Ball divined for them in Age 750,[2] the Crone sends out Dracula Man first. He enters the stage in bat form before transforming into his humanoid form. His first opponent is Kuririn, who is overconfident because of having participated in the Tenka'ichi Budōkai. Dracula Man manages to outmaneuver Kuririn and suck blood from his head, making him weak, angry and distracted. This allows Dracula Man to knock him out of bounds into the lake.

Dracula Man's next opponents are Pu'er and Upa, who enter as a tag team because they are relatively small and weak. Dracula Man is eager to consume their blood, but Upa breathes garlic in his face and Pu'er hurts him by transforming into a porcupine. Upa then poses his body in the shape of a cross, causing Dracula Man to freak out. He turns into a bat and tries to fly away, but Pu'er transforms into a hand and swats him down into the lake.[3] Dracula Man loses the match and Mr. Invisible takes his place.[4]

One of the Invincible Lords of the Highway, a highway gang that appears only in the Dragon Ball Z anime, resembles Dracula Man, but it is not clear whether this is him, a relative, or someone completely unrelated.[5]
