"Hurry, Goku! The Tenka'ichi Budōkai" is the eighty-third episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 14 October 1987, receiving a ratings share of 18.9%. It was written by Yasushi Hirano and directed by Toshihiko Arisako.
Synopsis
Three years have passed since Goku set out on his training journey. One day, Goku rescues the fox boy Konkichi, who was being pursued by an evil group. In gratitude to Goku, Konkichi says he will obtain the traveling fare for going to the Tenka'ichi Budōkai grounds. However, Konkichi is arrested for being a bank robber! Konkichi protests that while he may be a thief, he's no bank robber! For Konkichi's sake, Goku does a splendid job of capturing the real criminals!!
