"Dragon Ball Super Box 1" is the first collected release of the Japanese anime series Dragon Ball Super, released exclusively in Japan on 02 December 2015 on both DVD and Blu-ray. This compilation includes episodes 1-12, originally broadcast on Fuji TV between 05 July 2015 and 27 September 2015, and is the first of eleven total boxes covering the 131-episode series.
Bonus content includes a 16-page booklet featuring episode descriptions, character designs and expressions, an interview with producer Atsushi Kido, and storyboards for the first opening, "Chōzetsu ☆ Dynamic!", and the first ending, "Hello Hello Hello". Textless versions of these are included on Disc 2. The disc label art is recycled character design artwork from the 2013 theatrical film, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
Roughly corresponding editions were subsequently released internationally, including Dragon Ball Super Part 1 from FUNimation in July 2017, itself covering the first 13 episodes with both Japanese and English dialog.
