Summary
Piccolo asks Moro if Seven-Three's strength has been added to his own, and Moro confirms. Goku complains that it is one thing after another with this guy. Vegeta takes off into the sky, promising to tear Moro apart again. He attacks, but he cannot hit Moro despite several attempts; Moro has figured out that Vegeta's new technique requires him to inflict damage, and he will not make the same mistake again. Gohan calls out to Vegeta and tells him that Seven-Three's copy ability only lasts for 30 minutes; Piccolo adds that if they run out the clock he will be back to his former strength. Moro tells them that is wrong; the power has returned home, so there is no time limit. In fact, he has gained Seven-Three's abilities as well, and he demonstrates by grabbing Vegeta's neck, then displaying his palm to show Vegeta's image in the crystal. Goku asks what this copy thing is that they keep talking about, so Gohan explains that Seven-Three could copy another person's abilities by grabbing their neck, and now Moro has copied Vegeta.
Vegeta tries to continue to fight Moro as a Super Saiyan Blue without much luck. Then Moro uses Vegeta's own Big Bang Attack against him, knocking him back into his normal form. Moro is not very impressed with the technique, though; he thinks it is a grandiose name for such an ordinary attack. Piccolo tells Goku this is worse than they thought; if he can use Vegeta's abilities, he can also use Forced Spirit Fission, which means that even Fusion will not work against him.
At God's Temple, Bulma is distressed watches Vegeta's fight. Oolong points out that there is no one left who can fight, and Dende offers to go down there and restore their energy. Esca worries about Dende flying down there alone, and Bulma tells him it is too risky, but Dende says that as Earth's God, he cannot just sit back and watch. He tells Esca and Mister Popo to take care of things for him, and Mister Popo tells him to be careful. As Dende takes off from the temple, Kuririn is hopping from rock to rock on the surface, gripping a bag of senzu. He knows that things are not looking good; everyone's ki signatures keep getting smaller. He wishes he had given Goku some senzu before they split, and he hopes he makes it in time.
Meanwhile, Gohan and Piccolo power up and try to take on Moro. After a short and unsuccessful attack, Piccolo grabs Moro's ankles with his stretching arms. Moro fires at his head, but Piccolo says he will not let go even if Moro kills him. Moro informs Piccolo that he is keeping them alive to eat later. While they talk, Gohan makes a ring of energy and tosses it on Moro, squeezing it tight to trap him. Then Piccolo shouts at Goku for his part, and Goku comes in at Super Saiyan Blue with a Kamehameha. After a struggle, the attack finally detonates, leaving Moro with one arm melted off, but he regenerates the arm, punching all the way through Goku's chest. Moro admits he forgot to mention that the abilities Seven-Three copied are his now, with no time limits, including Piccolo's regeneration.
Goku collapses onto Moro, who tells him not to die just yet; he needs to devour his energy first. Gohan tries to stop Moro, but his attacks do not have any effect, and Moro backhands him, knocking him out too. Moro observes that Saiyans seem to get a power boost when they are angry, not that it was enough to overcome the gap between them. Angry, Piccolo prepares to attack too, but then Dende contacts him telepathically and lets him know he is headed that way to heal everyone, but Moro picks up on this conversation. Piccolo warns Dende not to use telepathy anymore, but it is too late; Moro has just learned of another Namekian ability. Piccolo warns Dende to stay away; Moro was listening. Jaco and Gohan are confused, but Moro asks Piccolo if the Namekian moving towards them has the ability to restore energy. He thinks that such a being is unlikely to be a threat, but just in case... Moro throws up a barrier around the battlefield, saying it should keep out any nuisances and prevent them from escaping. Dende and Kuririn both find themselves outside the barrier.
Moro blows Piccolo and Jaco away, and then No. 17 and No. 18 attack him from behind. Without turning around, he shoots them away with finger guns. Piccolo apologizes to Jaco for roping him into this battle. Jaco tells him to can it; Moro broke out of their prison, and Earth is his jurisdiction. If this planet is doomed, it is his duty to go down with it. Piccolo says in that case, he will not feel so bad about this. He starts gathering a ball of energy, and Jaco asks him what is going on; Piccolo tells him that the barrier is a blessing in disguise since it will keep any destruction contained. There will be nothing left in here when he is done. Jaco complains that he has not had time to make his peace yet. However, before Piccolo can finish, Moro hits him in the chest with a Makankōsappō. Piccolo falls to the ground, and Moro tells him to just lie there. Then he singles out "Galactic Patrol" as the only one remaining; everyone else is knocked out on the ground.
Outside the barrier, Dende curses himself for being a bad God; he was not able to defend the planet, or to help anyone. But then, a hole opens in the barrier, and Dende falls through. He looks back, confused, and sees the bottom half of an angel, who tells him, "This isn't over yet, God of Earth." Dende recognizes him...
Inside the barrier, Jaco points his gun at Moro, warning him to stay back. Moro tells him that he really has zero interest in his life energy. Such a small portion, and probably foul-tasting. He therefore has no need to keep Jaco alive, and wishes him farewell. Jaco fires the gun in desperation, and as the blast approaches Moro, another one joins it. When the blast hits, it makes a huge explosion, and Jaco looks at his gun, wondering if he really did that. Moro accuses his attacker of having imbued that shot with his own. Jaco is confused, so he turns around and sees Merusu standing behind him. Moro goes on, accusing Merusu of not actually being Galactic Patrol, and Merusu smiles.
