Mohito is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Mohito makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 78, broadcast on 12 February 2017 on Fuji TV, as the Angel of Universe Nine.

Mohito is a knowledgeable genius-type who looks at things dispassionately. Exasperated by his loser Kaiōshin and loser God of Destruction, he turns a blind eye to their violent exchanges.[1]
Tournament of Power
Mohito attends the Zen Exhibition Match with Sidra and Rou, the God of Destruction and Kaiōshin of Universe Nine, where they learn that the participation of their universe in the Tournament of Power is required. The Great Priest reveals that the Gods of Destruction and Kaiōshin of the participating universes will be erased along with their universe should they fail to win, while the Angels will be spared.[2]
Name
Mohito's name is likely derived from Mojito (モヒート/Mohiito), a Cuban cocktail that consists of white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. The character name drops the second syllable's vowel elongation and replaces it with the actual vowel. While both can appear the same when romanized, this modification does alter its pronunciation. This name pun follows the theme of Gods of Destruction and Angels being named after alcoholic beverages.[3]
Performance
Mohito is voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, who voiced Paikuhan and Artificial Human No. 16 in Dragon Ball Z and the latter in Dragon Ball Kai. Midorikawa took over the role of Tenshinhan after the death of Hirotaka Suzuoki in 2006.
