Name
Ribrianne's name is likely derived from Chateaubriand (シャトーブリアン) steak, a French dish made with a thick cut of beef tenderloin filet. The character name is a rearrangement of the katakana used to write "Chateaubriand" in Japanese, with the inclusion of the French word "de", meaning "of" or "from". The steak dish is named for François-René de Chateaubriand, whose surname comes from the French town of the same name.[2]
Performance
Ribrianne is voiced by Rina Kitagawa in her first credited role for the franchise. In the FUNimation dub, Ribrianne is voiced by Veronica Taylor, who also voices Beriblu in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
