"Showdown! Arale vs Blue" is the fifty-seventh episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 08 April 1987, receiving a ratings share of 24.0%. It was written by Keiji Terui and directed by Minoru Okazaki.
Synopsis
Dr. Senbe's eldest son Turbo-kun fixes the Dragon Radar. Blue then appears, takes Arale as a hostage, and steals the Dragon Radar, using his physic powers to immobilize Goku!! At this time, Arale uses amazing power to send Blue flying!! However, even though the Dragon Balls are returned, the Dragon Radar was sent flying along with Blue. Goku receives a newly made Dragon Radar from Turbo, and leaves Penguin Village behind.

The opening song "Mystical Adventure!" is performed by Hiroki Takahashi, and the ending song "I'll Give You Romance" is performed by Ushio Hashimoto. Two of the Dr. Slump tunes are variations on the anime's first opening song, "Wai Wai World".
