"Another Zamasu" is the nineteenth chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga series written and illustrated by Toyotarō, with supervision and guidance from original Dragon Ball author Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the February 2017 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump, with a sale date of 17 December 2016.
Summary
Goku and Vegeta finally meet Goku Black and announce that they know his true identity. Black explains that he killed the Goku-in-Zamasu's body, but is curious how Goku and Vegeta are here now in this timeline. Vegeta wastes no time and rushes in to attack. Black takes all of the attacks, though he appears to successfully block each one. Black then turns Super Saiyan and goes after Vegeta, who is able to dodge around a blast and deliver a double-fisted sucker punk to Black's gut. The two continue their fight as Goku, Trunks, and Mai look on from a distance. Trunks remarks that it has been a long time since he has seen Black transform, and that Black seems even stronger now. Vegeta lands a few more good hits, forcing Black to eventually put up a barrier. Black continues to wonder aloud which timeline these two came from. Vegeta responds by acknowledging that Black took Goku's body from the future, so he should be able to go Super Saiyan Blue on top of this. Vegeta smirks and transforms up to Blue, continue to goad Black on. Black responds that he is unable to transform into that state, and so Vegeta resumes his assault, all the while giving back-handed compliments to the real Goku's fighting ability.
Back in the past timeline, Zamasu finally arrives, only to find Universe 7's Beerus and Whis have come to visit Gowasu. Beerus gets right down to business, interrogating Zamasu about his visit to Zuno's and his inquiry over switching bodies with a human. Shin suddenly arrives, having just returned from a visit to Zamasu's future to see all of his upcoming treachery. Gowasu demands that Zamasu explain himself, but the self-righteous Zamasu replies with a smile.
In the future, Black continues to struggle against Vegeta, rambling on and on about humans polluting the world. Vegeta is fed up with this nonsense talk of justice and continues to easily handle Black in the fight, which only serves to anger the god more.
Back again in in the past, Zamasu forms an energy blade, but is immediately stopped by Beerus, who then places a single hand to Zamasu's face and promptly destroys him. Even Whis joins in on scolding Gowasu for his choice, though Shin asks that they depart in order to share news with Goku and Vegeta.
Goku, Trunks, and Mai continue to watch the battle with Black, rather confident that Vegeta will win. They have an uneasy feeling, however, so Goku yells for Vegeta to forget about him having a turn and to just finish the fight. Just as a Final Flash is about to take out Black, someone suddenly rushes in and saves the failing god, setting him down atop a distant building.
Shin explains to Beerus and Whis that in the future Black is not acting alone; he in fact has a partner.
This partner has rescued Black, and appears to heal him back to full health. Together — both Goku Black and Zamasu — they are one step closer to the ultimate body and enacting their "Zero Mortals Plan".

Continuity
The events of the manga and the anime diverge significantly. Below are the main differences, along with the episodes where the events of this chapter occur or contrast.

- In the anime, Goku, Vegeta and Trunks are still uncertain about Goku Black's identity when they first fight him in Future Trunks's timeline in Episode 56. The appearance of Future Zamasu at the end of that episode only confuses them further, as Zamasu was their main suspect. They do not learn the truth until they return from their "extra" trip back to the main timeline, in Episode 60.
- During his second fight with Black, in Episode 63, Vegeta suggests that Black is incapable of fully utilizing the power of Goku's body, just as he does in this chapter. In the anime, however, Vegeta does not say this because of Black's inability to transform into Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, since Black had already transformed into Super Saiyan Rosé during their first fight in Episode 56.
- Black does not use a regular Super Saiyan form in the anime, possibly due to a different reading of Akira Toriyama's design notes. Toriyama says that Black "becomes a Super Saiyan like Goku, and a Super Saiyan of a slightly different color than Goku."[1][2]
- Future Zamasu does not have a healing ability in the anime. Black somehow gets stronger without any near-death power-ups, as seen in episodes 51 and 56.
- In Episode 58 of the anime, Goku accompanies Beerus, Whis, and Shin to the Universe 10 Kaiōshim Realm to confront Zamasu. In the manga, Goku was still fighting Black in Future Trunks's timeline, so he did not accompany the deities.
- In the anime, Shin does not visit Zamasu's future to verify his guilt. Instead, Whis, Beerus and Goku watch from a distance, waiting for Zamasu to kill Gowasu. As soon as he does, Whis uses his "Do-Over" technique to rewind time and seals Zamasu's weaponized hand in a magical oven mitt to prove his murderous intent to Gowasu.
- Beerus and Whis also seems a lot more reluctant to kill Zamasu in the anime due to the fact that he is to be the next Kaiōshin of Universe 10, so they wait until they have concrete proof to kill him. In the manga, however, despite also not taking action before Shin has seen Zamasu’s future and confirmed his guilt, Beerus says that, as a God of Destruction, he needs no reason to destroy anything (despite the fact that he is meddling in the affairs of another universe).
- In the anime, Beerus and Whis learn about Future Zamasu from Goku and Vegeta in Episode 58, when they return with Trunks on their "extra" trip, rather than being informed by Shin.
