Gomah is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball universe, introduced in the Dragon Ball Daima television series. Gomah is first seen in Dragon Ball Daima episode 1, which debuted 11 October 2024 on Fuji TV.

Biography

Gomah resides in the First Demon World of the Demon Realm, as Vice Demon King under Dabra's rule.[1] Gomah is first seen watching recordings of the battle against Majin Boo, alongside his assistant Degesu. They are astonished to see that Dark Mage Bobbidi took control of Great Demon King Dabra, even more shocked that Dabra was easily defeated by Majin Boo, and in yet more disbelief that Majin Boo himself was eradicated by a bunch of other people.

With Dabra gone, Gomah becomes the new Great Demon King, but he is worried about those people who defeated Boo possibly invading the Demon Realm. He wants to use Earth's wish-granting Dragon Balls to turn Boo's enemies into harmless children, and to get his hands on the Evil Third Eye. This powerful Eye was always passed down among the Great Demon Kings, but was lost during the reign of Dabra's father Abra.[2]

Gomah goes to Earth and successfully turns Boo's enemies into children, but does not obtain the Evil Third Eye, because Shenlong says unknown first-time users of the Dragon Balls get only one wish. Gomah brings Dende, the one in charge of the Dragon Balls now turned into a baby, back to the Demon Realm with him as a hostage.[3] Gomah has a caretaker look after Dende, intending to get a new set of Dragon Balls out of him someday.[4]

Reviewing the recordings of the battle against Majin Boo, Degesu and Gomah notice Doctor Arinsu collecting a piece of Boo in the background, and wonder what she might be up to.[5] Degesu informs Gomah that some of the people they turned into children have entered the Demon Realm and are after its Dragon Balls. Gomah laughs this off, because the Demon Realm's Dragon Balls are guarded by the powerful Tamagami, but Degesu says they have already defeated one of the three.[6] Gomah checks on them via the monitors at his headquarters, and watches as Son Goku and company take out the military police planes chasing them, and avoid being eaten by a kraken.[7] He sees Vegeta fight Tamagami Number Two,[8] and Majin Doo — at Doctor Arinsu's bidding — fight Tamagami Number One. Gomah freaks out as both Tamagami lose and hand over their respective Dragon Balls,[9] and makes Degesu disable Warp-sama, the means of travel between worlds.[10]

Goku and company find another way to the First Demon World, though, breaking through the shields of light in the tunnel that connects the Demon Worlds. Gomah sends the military police after them,[11] but they make their way to Gomah's palace anyway. Gomah notices something strange on one of their belts — the Evil Third Eye. He orders Degesu to bring him that belt, who sends a demon lady after it.[1] This lady delivers the Evil Third Eye to Gomah, who has her push it into his forehead, causing Gomah to transform into a bigger, more muscular version of himself.[12]

Gomah goes outside to face everyone and magically creates a floating platform to serve as a battle arena. Goku and company all attack him together, as well as Arinsu's Majin Koo and Majin Doo, and even Tamagami Number One joins the fight.[13] The Evil Third Eye gives Gomah enough power to keep the upper hand even when Goku turns Super Saiyan 3, but when he reaches the Super Saiyan 4 state, it allows him to fight Gomah more evenly. Gomah grows even larger and knocks Goku back down to his regular, non-Super Saiyan form, though. Suddenly, a dragon shoots up from the Demon Realm's Dragon Balls, summoned by Glorio on Arinsu's orders. Arinsu wants to become the new Great Demon King,[14] but instead, Glorio wishes for those Gomah turned into children to return to normal.

Now adults again, Goku and company think they should be able to fight Gomah one-on-one. Vegeta goes first, but he gets tired whereas Gomah does not. Goku jumps in next, while Piccolo looks for an opening to hit Gomah in the back of the head three times — Arinsu discovers that this is the method for removing the Evil Third Eye from his forehead.[15] Piccolo gets two hits in before Gomah retaliates, and though everyone else attacks together, Gomah's injuries heal up automatically. Majin Koo unexpectedly manages to hit the back of his head three times, however, and the Evil Third Eye pops out. Glorio stomps on it to destroy it, and the Great Witch Marba, who created Majin Koo and Majin Doo for Arinsu, seals Gomah and Degesu inside an urn for 99 years. Having defeated Gomah, Majin Koo becomes the new Great Demon King.[16]
