Majin Koo is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball universe, introduced in the Dragon Ball Daima television series. Majin Koo is first seen in Dragon Ball Daima episode 9, which debuted 06 December 2024 on Fuji TV.
Biography
During the events of the battle with Majin Boo on Earth, Doctor Arinsu, an ambitious scientist from the Demon Realm, manages to collect a piece of Boo. She takes it to the Great Witch Marba, who Arinsu believes created Majin Boo in the first place, and wants her to concoct a new Majin. Marba has Arinsu contribute a bit of her saliva, so that she will be able to communicate with it without needing to speak.[1] She also has her plant a Saibaiman seed five centimeters into the concoction and water it. The use of a Saibaiman as a base, with various monsters mixed in along with the essence of Majin Boo, results in the creation of Majin Koo.
Arinsu wants to test him out by having him fight Tamagami Number One,[2] but Koo cannot win. Arinsu says Koo is fired, but Koo says he can still be helpful. He claims to be a good singer and he can run fast, which is useful for shopping.[3] Marba creates another fighter for Doctor Arinsu, and Koo helps plant the Saibaiman seed, deeper this time. Koo is excited to be getting a brother, and Majin Doo emerges. Arinsu has Doo fight the Tamagami next,[4] while Koo cheers him on. Doo suddenly stops, saying he wants chocolate, and Koo runs off to go get some. When Doo is satisfied, he continues to fight the Tamagami until it gives up. Its next challenge is mental arithmetic, however, which Doo is no good at and stumps even Arinsu. Koo mumbles a number to Doo, who repeats it to the Tamagami, and it is the correct answer. The Tamagami hands over the Dragon Ball it was guarding.[5]
When the new Great Demon King Gomah gains the power of the Evil Third Eye and starts fighting the people from Earth who have entered the Demon Realm, Arinsu tells Koo and Doo to go join the fight.[6] Though everyone fights Gomah together, they cannot beat him. Arinsu has Koo retrieve the Book of Magic Items, who flips through the pages at great speed. They discover how the Evil Third Eye can be removed from Gomah's forehead; he must be hit in the back of the head three times in a row.[7] Son Goku creates an opening for Piccolo to attempt this, but Gomah swats him away after being hit only two times. Gomah electrifies his battle arena, which sends everyone flying. Koo, still holding the magic book, finds himself falling towards the back of Gomah's head, and hits him with the book three times. The Evil Third Eye pops out, and Gomah loses his power. Having been the one to defeat the Great Demon King, Majin Koo becomes the new Great Demon King and sprouts a magical cape. He chooses Doctor Arinsu as his Vice Demon King and assigns several ministers, including Majin Doo. As Son Goku and his friends depart for Earth, Koo asks them to come save them if they ever get in trouble again.[8]
