Majora is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Majora makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 96, broadcast on 25 June 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 4 team.

Biography

Majora compensates for his lost eyesight with a keen sense of smell. In the Tournament of Power, Kuririn stuns him with the stench of his socks and blows him out of the ring with a Kamehameha.[1]

Name

Majora's name is likely derived from Marjoram (マジョラム), a perennial herb with sweet pine and citrus flavors. The character name is taken directly from the katakana used to write "marjoram" in Japanese, with the last syllable dropped.[2]

Performance

Majora is voiced by Mitsuo Iwata, best known as the voice of Champa. In the Tournament of Power, Iwata also voices Jilcol of Universe 10. In the FUNimation dub, Majora is voiced by Christopher Wehkamp, who previously voiced several minor roles in Dragon Ball Z Kai. In the Tournament of Power, Wehkamp also voices Oregano of Universe 9.
