Helles is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Helles makes her debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 78, broadcast on 12 February 2017 on Fuji TV, as the God of Destruction of Universe Two.
Biography
Helles is a God of Destruction in the form of a woman who sings praises of the magnificence of Universe Two's "Power of Love". She has an unusually high sense of aesthetics and hates ugly things.[2][3]
Zen Exhibition Match
Helles attends the Zen Exhibition Match with Peru and Souwa, the Kaiōshin and Angel of Universe Two. Helles is bewildered by the antics of Majin Boo during his fight with Basil.[4]
Name
Helles (ヘレス/Heresu) is a traditional German pale lager beer, produced chiefly in Southern Germany, particularly Munich. Her name pun follows the theme of Gods of Destruction and Angels being named after alcoholic beverages.[5]
Performance
Helles is voiced by Masumi Asano, whose roles include Cocoa Amaguri, Bikal of Universe Two, and Lilibeu of Universe Ten.
