Biography

Drum is a demon spawned by the Demon King Piccolo. When Tenshinhan comes to King Castle to challenge the Demon King, Piccolo considers it beneath him to fight the challenger personally, so he gives birth to Drum and has him fight in his stead.[1]

Tenshinhan does not go down without a fight, but cannot do much against Drum. Piccolo tells him to rip out Tenshinhan's heart, but before Drum can do so, Son Goku arrives and knocks him over. Drum tries to attack Goku, but gets kicked in the face so hard that his head is smashes to pieces.[2]

Name

Piccolo and the demons he spawns are all named after musical instruments, the drum in this case.

Production

Performance

Drum was voiced by Daisuke Gōri, who also played Drum's demonic sibling Cymbal as well as various other characters, such as Mister Satan.
