"I Am Son Goku's Son!! Gohan Returns to the Battlefield" is the one hundredth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Z. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 24 July 1991, receiving a ratings share of 19.8%. It was written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa and directed by Jun'ichi Fujise.
Synopsis
Shenlong hears the wishes, but it will take some time for them to be granted. Meanwhile, Goku is buried under the Earth by one of Freeza's attacks. Sensing this, Gohan flies to the battlefield to fight in Goku's place. If he can detain Freeza until Planet Namek explodes, perhaps they can defeat Freeza. But Gohan is no match for Freeza. However, Goku revives as Gohan is about to be finished off. And then Planet Namek's Eldest is resurrected.
