Nink is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Nink makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 96, broadcast on 25 June 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 4 team.
Biography
In the Tournament of Power, Nink grabbed Goku from behind and tried to take them both out of the ring, but was sent flying out of the ring by Goku's ki.[1] In the manga continuity, Nink is eliminated by Vegeta just after the tournament begins.[2]

Name
Nink's name is likely derived from Garlic (大蒜). Closely related to the onion, garlic is used as a common food flavoring ingredient worldwide. As with many organic/biological terms in Japan, garlic is typically written in katakana as ニンニク (nin’niku). The character name drops the third syllable of the katakana spelling.[3]
Performance
Nink is voiced by Eiji Takemoto. In the Tournament of Power, Takemoto also voices Bergamo of Universe 9. In the FUNimation dub, Nink is voiced by Jim Johnson in his first credited role for the Dragon Ball franchise.
