Hop is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Hop makes her debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 96, broadcast on 25 June 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 9 team.
Biography
With an appearance like a cat, Hop tears up opponents with long, sharp claws. In the Tournament of Power, she was dropped out of the ring by Vegeta's blow.[1]

Name
Hop's name is likely derived from Hops (ホップ), the flowers of the hop plant Humulus lupulus. The dried flower is used primarily as a flavoring and stability agent in beer, to which they impart bitter, zesty, or citric flavors. The character name is taken directly from the katakana used to write "hop" in Japanese.[2]
Performance
Hop is voiced by Yukana, who also voices the Saiyan warrior Kale of Universe 6. In the FUNimation dub, Hop is voiced by Amanda Gish in her first credited role for the Dragon Ball franchise.
