Bandai Namco Holdings has posted a ¥92.752 billion profit for the full fiscal year of 2022, compared to a ¥48.894 billion profit last year.
Dragon Ball came in as the company’s best-performing franchise for the year, pulling in ¥127.6 billion, both in line with last year’s ¥127.4 billion as well as line line with the company’s forecast of ¥127 billion. The company is projecting a jump to ¥133.5 billion for fiscal year 2023.
In terms of general toys and hobby merchandise (non-video games), the franchise also jumped from ¥15.4 billion last fiscal year to ¥19.7 billion this year. The company is projecting a jump to ¥21 billion for fiscal year 2023.
