Namco-Bandai’s LaLaBit Market is offering a “Special Edition” version of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission. This special “LaLaBit Market Edition” comes packed with the game, a Heroes-branded carrying case that holds twenty cards, as well as six “Heroes Tournament” packs of cards.

The special edition is due out the same day as the regular edition — 28 February 2013 — for an upgraded ¥7,980 price tag.

Thanks to Siliconera for the heads-up.

That’s kind of cool actually. Is the Capsule Corp. logo on the other side or is it a different option?

Is DragonBall Heroes is the 1st to show a female Super Saiyan?

For a second I thought this was going to be a Special Edition 3DS, haha.
Dragon Ball Online had a female Super Saiyan before Heroes. Arale has probably been one at some point if you count that.

    Me WANT!! LOL

Honestly though, this reminds me of all those offers and bonus schemes that were available during the late 90’s! Aaah nostalgia… ;P

In the second manga, she was dressed like a Super Saiyan, she wasn’t really a Super Saiyan. And in the remake anime, she had the SS aura & hair shape, they didn’t turn golden, so it was a reference.

    Holy shit.

I literally want a 3DS just for those carrying cases–as far as the game goes, I’ll take it or leave it. I mean, I’ll take it, but those cases are enough for me to just get a 3DS. 😮

I really, REALLY hope someone can answer this question.

The case – Does it fit the 3DS XL (or whatever it is called in Japan) or is it exclusively for the launch-sized 3DS system? I know the 3DS is region locked and I would be able to play the game itself, but the price would be worth every penny for the cards and the slick carrying case, provide it is bif enough for the larger 3DS model.

I really hope it takes the larger 3DS XL. With the 2nd 3DS model on store shelves, the launch system has absolutely no reason or justificartion to exist. The XL is superior in every single way, so lets hope the Dragon Ball people and game companies understand that in the lead up to this release.

Thanks in advance for any (constructive) answers you may have!
