Namco-Bandai has released a new promotional video teasing the upcoming “new chapter” for the card-based arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes:
The promotional video describes the — perhaps unfortunately phrased — “new series” under development for the game, which will include the Evil Dragons from Dragon Ball GT and the GT/adult-style Gotenks that still has yet to make his official appearance in the game. The teaser concludes with plugs for both V-Jump and Saikyō Jump, both of which will have additional information in the coming months.
The December 2013 issue of Saikyō Jump in particular (due out 02 November 2013) is set to include three Dragon Ball Heroes cards along with bonus material across a 100+ page extravaganza of Dragon Ball things!
- “Entry Set 0” for Dragon Ball Heroes, featuring Goku: Child, Kuririn: Child, and Kame-Sen’nin
- Large posters and bonus stickers
- Deluxe Dragon Ball Heroes guidebook
- A 3-shot Dragon Ball manga (it is unclear what this fully entails; it may be that the regular monthly chapter of Dragon Ball SD is a part of this, or it may not!)

Why is the ad in English?
My exact same question. Are they aiming for an international release?
Japan likes using English. It doesn’t mean we’ll be getting the game.
