Two days ago, Japan saw a re-release of the two Dragon Ball GT “Perfect File” guide books. As far as we know they are the same as the original release with new covers (sort of — the original release did not have a “Volume 1” branding right on the first volume). You can pick these up at Amazon Japan for ¥600 each.
Toei has revealed the covers for their next three DVDs of the Z Dragon Box individual disc release. Each of these discs will contain six episodes, covering episodes 109 thru 126. These three DVDs are set to be released 26 April 2006, making them the second set of DVDs to be released in April. Unfortunately this means that there will be no releases in May. You can still order any of the released discs or pre-order any of these three discs at Amazon Japan.
So while we doubt many people really “fell” for the joke, it was fun none-the-less. In case you missed out on the April Fool’s Day prank, you can view an extremely large image of yesterday’s home page below:
But hey… in case you’re sad, offended, or some other strange emotion… Episode #0020 of the podcast is available for download!

“Super Dragon Ball Z” for the Japanese PS2 has been pushed back to 29 June 2006. It was previously scheduled for release on April 13th. The game can still be found in Japanese arcades until then (and most likely after, for a little while longer).
Has the domestic release of “Advanced Adventure” on the Nintendo GameBoy Advance been delayed yet again? A listing does not yet exist on Amazon, and GameStop.com’s listing has been updated to a release date of 13 June 2006. It was previously listed for an April 3rd/4th release date… and that was after being pushed back a month even before that.
This poor game just cannot see the light of day in the US. It is not like there is not already a fully-completed English translation in other countries, or anything!
Episode #0018 of the podcast is available for download! We have some fun while Julian’s out of town, play some games, and give away some free swag. Did you win the “Great Saiyaman” DVD starter set in our first podcast contest? You’ll have to listen to find out! If you want more free stuff, you’ll have to tune in! Our podcast listeners get first dibs on a free CD from The Red Ribbon Army! Check it out!
SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Episode #0018! VegettoEX and Meri invite on podcast host godofchaos and old site friend Napier to play a round of 20 Questions — DragonBall style! Play along and see how many you can guess. We announce the winner of our first podcast contest, and start up another contest! News, best Bulma outfits, and e-mails round out the week.

The listings for the upcoming “Dragon Box: The Movies” in Japan have changed! I know I have not gotten any e-mails from Amazon about the date change, but CDJapan has an updated release date of 14 April 2006 for the DVD box set. There is also a notice up on the official Toei site confirming the date and apologizing to customers:

As done many times before, McDonald’s will be giving away Dragon Ball pencil boards with the purchase of a happy meal in Japan.
There will be two sets of pencil boards, each offered on different days in March (18-19 and 25-26). If you happen to be in Japan, and order a happy meal on any of those days, you will get some awesome Dragon Ball merchandise. As a special bonus, if you go in to a McDonald’s on 21 March 2006, you’ll get a free Dragon Ball Z poster.
