Dyrasen is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Dyrasen makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 90, broadcast on 14 May 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Universe 10 team.
Biography
Dyrasen is a beautiful narcissistic warrior who holds a rose in one hand. In the Tournament of Power, Ribrianne's charge takes him out of the ring during his battle with Piccolo.[1][2]
Tournament of Power

Dyrasen is recruited for the Tournament of Power by Rumoosh, the God of Destruction of Universe 10. As the leader of the team, Mulithim introduces the otherwise-hooded members including Dyrasen to his Kaiōshin Gowasu, demonstrating their dedication to a regular protein intake in order to build strength.[3]
The Angel Kusu leads the team in a dance to foster team unity, while Gowasu records. He plans to upload it as a video entitled "Us Dancing" on GodTube, and hopes it will get a lot of views.[4]
The team is next seen when they are transported to the World of Void by the Great Priest. Dyrasen dances in front of his team members as they are introduced, ending in a pose with his trademark rose.[5]
Under fire from Ribrianne's Love attack, the Universe 7 defensive group scatters to take up individual fights, and Dyrasen nearly trips over Piccolo. They are facing off when Dyrasen gets caught up in Ribrianne's attack against Vegeta. He is knocked out of the ring, seemingly transformed into a black shadow-like shape, and transported to the benches as the Great Priest announces his elimination. Rumoosh chides Dyrasen for become collateral damage, slapping his head with his trunk, and the Omni-Kings tap Dyrasen out on their GodPads.
After the elimination of Obni, Universe 10 is erased.[6] When No. 17 uses the Super Dragon Balls to restore all of the destroyed universes, Dyrasen is seen with his teammates and Gowasu in the Kaiōshin realm of Universe 10.[7]
Name
Dyrasen's name is likely derived from the element Praseodymium (プラセオジム), a lanthanide rare-earth metal with the atomic number 59. This pun follows the theme of Universe 10 warriors being named after elements of the periodic table.[8]
Production

In Dragon Ball Super Episode 90, the Universe 10 team appears hooded, with the exception of Mulithim. They remain hooded in Episode 91, suggesting that their designs had not yet been finalized when animation began on these episodes.
Performance
Dyrasen is voiced by Masaya Takatsuka, whose Dragon Ball Super roles include the Great Priest and Caulifla's brother, the Saiyan Renso. In the FUNimation dub, Dyrasen is voiced by Austin Tindle, who also voices Souwa, the Angel of Universe 2, and Leek, a Saiyan in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
