Our legendary “Manga Review of Awesomeness” ran from 2007 to 2011 covering each individual volume of the Dragon Ball manga. During its run, we brought all types of fans together: those who had read it front to back in Japanese and in English, long-time fans that had not read the entirety of the series, and fans that had never touched it before in their lives. We broke down the story, analyzed its pacing and plot progression, and came to understand author Akira Toriyama’s wacky and genius writing style in a whole new dimension. Upon its completion, we naturally moved on to the “Dragon Ball GT Review of Awesomeness“.
