A new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 3 and Vita Jump-franchise crossover fighting game extravaganza, J-Stars Victory Vs, showcases the game’s opening theme, “Fighting Stars”, performed by a trio of shōnen music superstars: Hironobu Kageyama (Dragon Ball Z), Hiroshi Kitadani (One Piece), and Akira Kushida (Kinnikuman/Toriko).
The trailer also showcases some of the latest character additions, such as Koro-sensei (Assassination Classroom), Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya), and Hisoka (Hunter x Hunter). A wealth of new characters have been revealed recently in the pages of various Shueisha publications (some not yet showcased in this trailer); we promise to have a comprehensive update for you soon!
The “J-Stars Victory Book,” available to pre-order customers, along with the “Anison” version and its musical inclusions are also given focus at the end of the trailer.
J-Stars Victory Vs is due out exclusively in Japan on the PlayStation 3 and Vita 19 March 2014 in both regular and “Limited Edition / Anison” versions. Pre-orders are available on sites such as CDJapan and Play-Asia, though some retailers are already sold out of their “Limited Edition” allocations.
