Our “weekly” podcast, then named Daizenshuu EX – The Podcast, began in November 2005 as a new way to reach out to our audience, extend that audience, and simply have fun with the franchise we love so much. Though we updated the name to Kanzenshuu – The Podcast in April 2012 with the launch of this website, we remain the best, most authoritative, entertaining, and only Dragon Ball podcast you will ever need!
Each episode, the Kanzenshuu staff discuss the latest news in the world of Dragon Ball from across the globe before heading into a core topic — whether it be an in-depth discussion of the way in which the story and franchise was produced, theories for in-universe scenarios and “What If?” scenes, interviews with those actually involved with the franchise, thorough reviews of video games or home video releases, we have you covered! We wrap things up with the month’s upcoming releases, questions from the listeners, and much more! We regularly have contests, broadcast live (watch our Twitter and Facebook!), and have a great time sharing our love of the Dragon Ball franchise with you all each and every week.
Podcast Episode #0190 — 13 September 2009
We have another doozy of a show for you this weekend, in addition to catching up on a bunch of news! This time around on the show, our regular buddy Jeff joined us along with Scott Melzer to talk about ethics in fandom. Things have changed a great deal since the days of VHS fansubs (and we were sure to give a thorough history lesson), but with the franchise finally slipping into the modern distribution era with Kai, questions on how to conduct yourself as a fan have never been more relevant. Download the show now, or head on over to the podcast page for more information or to subscribe.

Podcast Episode #0188 — 23 August 2009
We are extremely excited to share Episode #0188 of the podcast with you, as it has been one we have been planning on doing for quite some time. It made sense to cover it once we were past the point in our “Manga Review of Awesomeness” when sento ryoku (battle powers, power levels, combat strength…) were no longer relevant, and so now that we have hit that point, it’s time to jump into the discussion! Herms from Kanzentai joins us to discuss the history (and possibly origin influences) for the concept’s implementation in DragonBall, and even how they have affected fandom over time! Download the show now, or head on over to the podcast page for more information or to subscribe.
SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Episode #0188! VegettoEX and Meri bring on Herms from Kanzentai to discuss the concept of “sento ryoku” in the DragonBall series. Battle powers, power levels, combat strength… whatever it is you want to call them, they have become an important part of fandom and its culture. Are they really that significant in the grand scheme of the series, though? And where did this concept even come from, in the first place? “Raging Blast” news (including SSJ3 Broli), the rest of August’s releases, your questions, and much more rounds out the episode!

This week we had a semi-“all-star” cast come together to record different sections with me. Hujio from Kanzentai pops in to recap this week’s ridiculous amount of news, and KaiserNeko from TeamFourStar even stops by to give us an update from their end with regards to Toei’s mass-takedown situation with YouTube. Jeff then joins us to finally review the first DBZ TV special now that he has passed that point in our regular “Manga Review of Awesomeness” monthly topic. Similar to said topic format, we were able to get Jeff’s perspective as a total newbie who’s never seen the TV special before, which both compared and contrasted amazingly with Meri and myself. Your regular releases and e-mails finish off the gigantic episode! Download the show now, or head on over to the podcast page for more information or to subscribe.
