Angels are dispatched by the Omni-King to serve as guides to the Gods of Destruction.[2][3] If an Angel's God of Destruction dies without a replacement, the Angel will cease to function.[4] The Angels are all children of the Great Priest,[5] who serves as a guide to the Omni-King himself. Their names are all derived from alcoholic beverages.[6]
