Arc Synopsis

There’s only one Dragon Ball remaining, but for some reason it won’t show up on the radar. In a jam, Goku and co. go to the Fortuneteller Crone, who is said to be able to find anything that you’re looking for. In order to get her to divine for them, Goku and co. end up fighting Uranai Baba’s five competitors. Goku survives to the last competitor, who gives him a tough battle. It was soon revealed that the identity of the amazingly powerful final competitor was actually Goku’s dead grandpa, Son Gohan.

Having won against Gohan and getting the location of the Dragon Ball from the Fortuneteller Crone, Goku quickly sets out to find it. After a brief battle with Pilaf, Goku succeeds in stealing the last remaining Dragon Ball and safely brings Upa’s father Bora back to life. Vowing to reunite with all of his friends at the Tenka’ichi Budōkai, which will be held again in three years, Goku sets out to train.
