FUNimation had initially released the two “Trunks” discs with a few flaws (such as the excessive height of the subtitles on the screen). Another disc was planned in the “Trunks” series, being the Burger King promotional episodes (two episodes; 109-110 English / 124-125 Japanese) which were originally offered on VHS only through a special value-meal promotion with the fast food company. A single, two-episode disc was planned, but was eventually scrapped with no official announcement. Instead, the two “Trunks” discs were re-released with a few actual enhancements (eyecatches were put back in, opening and ending themes surround each episode, subtitle heights reverted back to normal, and a few typos were fixed). In addition to this, the two Burger King promotional episodes were thrown in at the end of the second “Trunks” disc (again, with no official announcement). Volume 34 was renamed to volume 34/35 to reflect this change. These discs could be identified by their smaller “splash” in the bottom-right of the cover.
